Windows 11 is here!

NEW TASKBAR&START MENU

One of the biggest changes of windows 11, is the brand new taskbar and start menu. By default, the taskbar items are moved to the center and there is an option in the setting that you can still customize the taskbar alignment.

Also, notice there is a brand new start menu on the windows logo, which looks more modern. Trapping on this icon shows the start menu, on the top right, you can see an option to view all of the installed applications. The start menu is divided into three sections -1)The top section shows the pinned applications which are user-customizable and 2) The Center section is the recommended section, which provides suggestions about the recent changes-3) The Bottom section shows the user ID and power button. Overall I would say the all-new start menu is easier to use compared to Windows 10.

Task View

Next to the search bar, there is a new icon that Microsoft is calling a task view or workspaces. With Windows 11, the workspace is getting an overhaul. Thanks to this brand-new horizontal workspace that is very easy to navigate across the system. You can also create a new workspace by clicking on the new desktop. These workspaces are super fancy and give the true power to an end-user to organize the apps according to their workflow.

Widgets

It’s time to talk about widgets, you might have seen in the latest build windows 10. With Window 11, Microsoft is calling as a widget. This section shows all the information and cards about interests. I would say, inspire from MacOs and provide a way to add real app widgets that are more useful to an end-user.

Updated Action Center

With Windows 11, Action Center also got a few design changes, The new system toggle at the bottom looks more natural, and notice the rounded corners at the edges of each toggle.

These are some of the top features of windows 11, other features include a new ink workspace, faster performance, brand new system animations, new icons, brand new media controls & more. So what you guys think about the upcoming Windows 11?!
