Samsung Odyssey Neo G8: The first 4K screen with 240Hz

Samsung has unveiled the new Odyssey Neo G8, a 32-inch gaming display with 1000R curvature and 2,000 nits of brightness on its Quantum Mini-LED panel. In fact, this is the first screen in the world that offers 240Hz refresh rate in 4K resolution with 1ms response time. It is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. The ports have two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4, while it also has RGB backlight that synchronizes with the content displayed on the screen. Price and availability were not disclosed.

Samsung also introduced the Smart Monitor M8, which comes pre-installed with streaming services, allowing you to use it as a smart TV without having to connect it to other devices. It offers 4K resolution at 32 inches and has its own wireless controller, while it also has a webcam.

Finally, there is the Samsung S8 at 32 and 27 inches with 4K resolution which is aimed at content creators. It is the first monitor in the world to be certified as glare-free by Underwriters Laboratories, offers 98% coverage on the DCI-P3 color palette and supports wired LAN, Ethernet, USB-C connections and can charge a laptop with 90W.
